Parent Organization

The Parent Organization in this school is called PAC

(Parents At the Center of education). This organization focuses on the academic and moral development of children.

Booster Club is a supportive arm of PAC that is interested in the growth of the sports program at Most Pure Heart of Mary

 

Parents are expected to:

Be involved from attendance at general PAC meetings to  meeting teachers                                                                                        

Be financially supportive helping with fund raisers, securing matching funds from employers and obtaining direct grants that benefit the school.

 

Being a volunteer at Heart of Mary is vital to its growth. Opportunities for daily service exist in the lunchroom, on the playgrounds and in the classrooms. One hour a week can make a difference. A parent’s presence demonstrates interest and support.

 

Parent education programs are offered throughout the year.

School bulletins are sent home to provide monthly updates on current programs and calendar items

Most Pure Heart of Mary is affiliated with Notre Dame’s ACE (Alliance for Catholic Education) Program, Catholic Education.  The ACE program allows Notre Dame college graduates the opportunity to serve as full-time teachers in under-resourced Catholic schools.
ACE teachers spend two summers (June-July) studying in the Master of Education program at Notre Dame and two school years (August-May) teaching in under-resourced Catholic schools across the country.
